AZMMJ Patient: Senator McCain Must Support Federal Medical Marijuana

Dear Senator McCain,

     The subject of my email is the relationship between my endowed freedoms from the Declaration of Independence and laws made outside of those freedoms. I am speaking about laws that come from moral opinions that are derived from Mosaic Law. Mosaic Law was incorporated into British Common Law under the reign of Alfred the Great. The Declaration of Independence declared our freedom from Mosaic Law along with the whole king-and-kingdom thing. Observation shows that the unalienable right to life that every citizen is endowed with by his CREATOR is violated by the Mosaic Law death penalty administered under the Constitution. It seems to me that the two "self-evident" truths should dictate all American law. Valid laws are those that protect citizens from harm or theft.
     The reason I am speaking about this issue of freedom and rights that come from God and not from the "generosity of the state” (John F. Kennedy in his inauguration speech), because I am a Medical Marijuana patient in Arizona and know for a fact that the laws against marijuana are inconsistent with the Declaration of Independence. It is the state's "moral opinion" that getting high on marijuana is evil and therefore should be against the law and the evil-doers should be criminalized and denied their rights.
   In the State of Arizona, we the people have decided that Marijuana has scientifically proven medical value and should be made available to qualified patients under the protection and supervision of the Arizona Health Department.
    Senator McCain, as an elected official of the State of Arizona you are required to support Medical Marijuana in your representation of the people of Arizona at the U.S. Senate. With this responsibility you must form a coalition with the U.S. Senators from the other Medical Marijuana States and act in concert to demand (at the least) that Marijuana be rescheduled to Schedule 3 from Schedule 1.
     If you disagree with my logic about your responsibility (for I am sure you do not deny all of the scientific evidence supporting medical marijuana including recognition by the National Cancer Institute on its website in March 2011) then I respectfully request that you communicate to me (and the voters of Arizona) your logic about this that would prevent you from honoring my request.

Epiphany, 2010 - UFO Craft Gives A “Sign” Over Dublin

An unfakeable Video of a UFO craft was recorded over Dublin Ireland on January 6, 2010. The image of the UFO in the video bears an exact resemblance to the well-known UFO image that I created in 1997, after I had seen the UFO craft on the evening of March 13, 1997. The total event that evening became known by the media as the “Phoenix Lights” and is considered by some to be the top UFO sighting in history. My CGI of the UFO craft appeared on the front page of USA Today on June 18, 1997. The first time my UFO CGI appeared on television was during an interview broadcast on Friday the 13th of June, 1997.


January 6, 2010 was the Epiphany. It celebrates the meeting of the three Magi with Jesus and Mary, when Jesus was two years old. The story of the Epiphany is dominated by what is referred to as a heavenly star that moves in front of the Magi and leads them to Jesus when it stops directly over where Jesus lives with Mary and Joseph. Take a look at the UFO video from Ireland. With the zooming in and out on the UFO it would be very difficult and very expensive to fake it. I have no doubt that it’s a bona fide video. If you know anything about me you know that I am a firm believer in God. I prayed to God about my sighting and asked Him to send the UFO back to show me that the ETs were friends of his. He sent them back to me. Read this story: Second Sighting of Phoenix Lights UFO Craft. I am talking about the logical God who is all good. True logic in our minds is the thinking of the Holy Spirit who exists outside of creation and who says, “I am the giver of life”. This true and loving God gave Jesus his name and raised him from the dead. So for me this event that took place over Dublin Ireland on the Epiphany is a sign from God, delivered by the ETs which points to my UFO craft image and therefore to my explanation as to what is going on with these UFOs in our skies. My UFO craft CGI is solely unique and original and nothing like it had ever been seen by the world before it was published by USA Today on June 18, 1997. So I am laying claim to the appearance of the UFO over Dublin based on its strong resemblance to my unique UFO image. It is more than a coincidence for the UFO craft to show up over Dublin at this time because the National Geographic UFO TV Special that will air in the United States on February 22, 2010 has already aired in the UK and Ireland. The TV special will be saying that the craft that passed over my front yard was fifteen hundred feet long and that this is the first time in history that sciemce has been able to determine the exact size of a UFO craft (1,500 feet).

February 20, 2019; Phonix, AZ AUTHOR'S NOTE - I first saw the video of this UFO on January 29, 2010. Someone had emailed me an article about this video, saying it was from Dublin Ireland and taken on January 6, 2010. Apparantly I was supposed to perceive the video though that date because it is the date of the celebration of the Epiphany for 2010. What struck me about the Epiphany his year is that the calender for 2010 is exasctly the same as the calender for the year of my birth in 1943.
So the video wss actually captured over Freemont, California on December 5, 2008 and posted on YouTube at that time. The timing for me to see the video is an example of how God works in my life.

The Phoenix Lights - What's really behind the event?

This video depicts the typical attitude about "The Phoenix Lights". This is the erroneous perception that the lights videotaped the night of March 13, 1997 are attached to some type of humongous UFO when in fact they are military flare lights dropped by jets from the Maryland National Guard from over 30 miles south of Phoenix and the video tapes taken were even further away; for example the tape most used to show the lights is one made from a distance of at least 50 miles from the area the flares were dropped in over the Barry M. Goldwater Range. The lights are so singularly bright and clear because the lower frequencies of light that surround the flare interior are stripped off by the light's movement through over 30 miles of atmosphere; only the brightest light rays that were coming directly towards the videotape location would come through the atmosphere and be captured by the video camera's ccd; it's very similar to what happens to the view of the sun that you see as you descend deeper and deeper into the ocean until you reach a depth where no light can penetrate. All of the people who refuse to recognize the true nature of the "lights" are only "muddying the waters" for the rest of the world that would just like to know the real truth of what happened that evening. I don't have anything negative to say about these individuals whether witnesses or investigators; they have put themselves on the line by claiming these lights are not flares despite all of the evidence that contradicts that conclusion; this makes them emotionally bound to their "opinion" and kind of creates a blindspot in their thinking. The fact is they did not see an object; they saw unmoving lights come on and go off within 5 minutes and because they absolutely knew that there were UFO's passing over Phoenix that night from witnesses, they assumed what they saw was one of those UFO's. There is only one grainy videotape of 5 lights moving in formation taken right around 8:30 that evening just north of my location right before the craft with those 5 lights embedded in it passed over our house.

The producer of the video also took one of my images that is on my blog and inserted it into his video and animated it and never gave me credit for the original image creation. This is the image I'm talking about.

The world needs to get straight about what happened here in Phoenix the evening of March 13, 1997. Believing that the event was all about some lights videotaped in the sky is completely off track. Understanding that the event was about the visit of one or more real ET crafts is what it was about. The videotaped lights were a way of bringing worldwide attention to the witnesses who actually saw a real craft.

Phoenix Lights Videotape Analysis

This video is an analysis of the videotaped lights in the sky near Phoenix Arizona on March 13, 1997 known as "The Phoenix Lights". These videotaped lights were what sparked world wide interest in the events of that night. As this blog continues on into the future I plan on developing a concept about these lights that will attempt to explain the meaning of the entire event that night (the most important part of it being the appearance of a bona fide UFO craft). So the first thing is to try and understand what those lights were that night that were videotaped over Phoenix as they appeared to hang in the sky in fixed positions without movement. There were 5 videotapes that recorded the array of lights that night but one in particular is the most well known. It's viewpoint is from north east Phoenix around 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. It is noteworthy that this location is about 20 miles north of the Estrella Mountain range and approximately 50 miles north of the Barry M. Goldwater range (where the flares were dropped by the Maryland Air Guard [see the video]). So if this particular video tape used in the analysis is actually a recording of flares dropped about 50 miles away from the camera viewpoint then why should anyone be surprised that the light from those flares from such a great distance wouldn't look like flares because most of the visible low frequency light surrounding the flares and any smoke would be filtered out by 50 miles of atmosphere. The light finally picked up by the CCD in the camera would be very clean and uniform because of this filtration and also because of the nature of a CCD .

Quite a controversy over these videotaped lights has literally raged in Phoenix since that night 10 years ago. One side of the controversy over what these lights were is the group of individuals who videotaped the lights and all the people who believed that the lights were the UFO or at least not lights from this earth. They absolutely want to believe that what they videotaped was some kind of UFO. They thought that's what they videotaped that night and after they found out that certain witnesses (like me and my family) had seen a moving array of lights and also an actual UFO craft they were further encouraged to believe that the "lights" they videotaped were the UFO. I'm sure they (and anyone else who believed with them) would feel that their "status" would be diminished if all that they had videotaped were flare-lights. Well I don't agree with a diminishing of status but rather a shifting of status; if it wasn't for their videotapes the world would probably not have noticed what happened in Phoenix that night. I feel I should make an observation here about part of the video. At one point Jim Dilettoso is comparing the lights from the video tape of March 13, 1997 to video tape made by the local NBC affiliate of flares dropped by the Airforce near Phoenix on June 25, 1997. It's obvious to the naked eye that the two images are quite different and Dilettoso's analysis shows they are quite different. Unfortunatey the distance from the video camera to the flares in the NBC affiliate video is certainly not 50 miles like the controversial video and therefore has not had the same atmospheric filtration process as the original video and also the TV station camera is of a much higher quality. So comparison of the two sets of lights is lopsided because of the distance difference and really worthless.

As to the other side of the controversy it is dual-faced; You have a group of individuals who have seen the moving lights or a moving craft (and all the people that believe their stories) who are not concerned if the "lights" are flares and as a matter of fact have other theories about the flares; some think that the government knew about the UFO craft and had the flares dropped as a diversion (conspiracy theory); some think they were just a coincidence. The other face of this side of the controversy are the skeptics who refuse to believe in UFO's at all and they jump all over the flare controversy and try to rest the entire UFO event that night with the "lights" and by proving the lights to be flares try to disparage the real UFO event and ignore it.

I think you see why I showed this video. I wanted you to see this whole thing from the most objective viewpoint possible and see the only possible conclusion.

When you watch this video you'll see both sides of the controversy present their data and opinions. At the end of the video the newscaster suggests that you decide what the lights were. She then makes a point at the end to say that even if the "lights" were flares it still doesn't explain the sightings of the craft like what we saw and then the piece closes with a short montage of some of the UFO craft images that I created on my computer. So if you've already watched the video and you have decided that the lights were flares then what do you think is the explanation for the "coincidence" of the flare drop happening the same night as the amazing, huge UFO passing silently and slowly directly over my front yard 100 feet up in the air? I'm interested in what you think about this. And likewise if you believe the lights were not flares then I'd be interested in hearing from you and what comments you would have about the evidence of the video analysis and my explanation about atmospheric filtration.

Panel of former pilots and government investigators want UFO investigations reopened by the U.S. government

It has been reported on Yahoo News that Democratic U.S. presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich had been ridiculed for having said that he had seen a UFO. That's not how some people feel about this subject. An international panel of former pilots and government officials called on the U.S. government on November 12, 2007 to reopen investigations into UFO sightings as a matter of safety and security. In a statement released at a news conference they said "Especially after the attacks of 9/11, it is no longer satisfactory to ignore radar returns ... which cannot be associated with performances of existing aircraft and helicopters." The panelists from seven countries, included former senior military officers, said they had each either seen a UFO or had participated in an official investigation into UFO phenomena.
Dennis Kucinich, a member of Congress from Ohio, claimed that he had seen a UFO himself. He said this during a televised debate with other Democratic candidates. Former presidents Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter both reported having seen UFOs. One of the panelists who had formerly worked for Britain's Ministry of Defense said what is echoed the statistics that are known by most people who are interested in the UFO phenomena. The panelist said that 5 percent of UFO sightings cannot be explained. The fact is that most sightings are automatically dismissed out of hand without any investigation. I think we all have to be in the state of mind of making the decision to believe our own eyes than listening to some government opinion made with closed eyes. The panel was organized by a group dedicated to winning credibility for the study of UFOs. They are urging the American government to reopen an official UFO investigation unit either run by NASA or the U.S. Air force. Former Governor of Arizona Fife Symington who had see the immense delta-shaped craft travel silently past him as he stood in a small park in Northeast Phoenix reported by hundreds during the world famous "Phoenix Lights" sighting of March 13, 1997. The Air Force investigated 12,618 UFO reports from 1947 to 1969 in what was known as Project Blue Book. At that time the governments reasoning behind closing project "Blue Book" was that they felt there was no real evidence of visitors from outer space or super technology and so there was no real threat.

First Year Anniversary of Phoenix Lights UFO: TV Interview with the Leys

This is a video that was aired on local Phoenix TV one year after the original Phoenix Lights UFO event occurred. What I think is noteworthy about this video is the fact that the TV people are not really sure about what happened on March 13, 1997. For one thing when they speak about my experience that evening they make it sound that me and my family saw the "Phoenix Lights" that appeared to be hanging over the city of Phoenix around 10 p.m. that night when in fact WE NEVER SAW THOSE LIGHTS THAT WERE SHOWN ON VARIOUS VIDEOS. We saw 5 distinct lights travel towards us for around 12 minutes before we were able to recognize that these lights were embedded in an Extraterrestrial craft that eventually passed right over our heads so there could be no doubt that we saw them. That's the bottom line clarification: our family saw a craft "up close and personal" and to mix up our sighting with the display of lights later on in the evening is almost mis-information. Why is this mis-information so critical? Because the world may mistakenly think that all there was was one event and it's all tied in together. Wrong! The lights were just lights in the sky (at least the ones that appeared to hover motionless over the city) and not a giant UFO that we possibly saw. What we saw was only 700 or 800 feet long and it continuously moved and it came right down our street. So everyone out there that's listening know this: a real ET craft was in Phoenix that night and it may have had something to do with the deployment of flares earlier in the evening but it was not the flares. It was passing over my house around 8:20.

This is a video aired on local Television in Phoenix Arizona on Friday the 13th of June, 1997. It's the first time our family was exclusively interviewd on Television. My wife and I had made a brief appearance on Strange Universe a couple of months earlier but we were just a couple in a whole group of people. In this video the focus is on us and on our experience.

I think it was this televised interview that really got things going about the event that became known as the Phoenix Lights. Let me back up a little and give you the background of how this interview came about. After the initial "happening" the night of March 13, 1997 the only organized attempt to make any sense of what exactly happened that evening was put together by Jim Dilettoso who had a company called Village Labs (you'll see him in this video). His office building became UFO investigation HQ for the Phoenix Lights. Jim Dilettoso had a lot of previous experience in analyzing purported photos and films (or videos) of UFOs. One of the famous cases he got involved in was the Willy Myer films and photos from the 70's in Switzerland. I just happened to be personal friends with Jim Dilettoso before the Phoenix Lights event. When I created the images of the UFO on my computer I took the digital images down to Village Labs and let Jim load them into his system as part of my contribution to the investigation; Jim knew me well enough that I (and my family) would never make anything up ever at all. So one day I was down at Village Labs when some people from the local Fox affiliate TV Station Channel 10 were visiting Jim and checking out the data from the investigation. I met one of the producers and got talking to him. I gave him my first-hand account of what happened that night and as it is with anyone that speaks with me directly he knew what I told him was true and real. The next thing that happened a couple of weeks later in early June was that I got a call from a reporter at Channel 10 asking to come over to my house on June 11th and interview our family for a show that would air on Friday June 13, 1997 (exactly 3 months since the UFO passed directly over our property).

At the same time as this show aired on TV I was contacted by USA TODAY and interviewed over the phone for inclusion in an article they were preparing for publication in their paper on June 18, 1997. As a matter of fact the image that they used on the front page of the paper was photographed off of a monitor at Village Labs that was displaying my CGI of the craft that I created on my computer and then allowed Jim to put it on his computers at Village Labs. USA TODAY never got my permission to use that image and they only credited the photographer (Scott Troyanos) who "lifted it" off of Jim's monitor. I called USA TODAY up and complained about it but they brushed me off and told me that by my agreeing to be interviewed by them and photographed (their photographer came over to our house and took photos of us out in the desert up on a hill to use in their article) that covered their use of my image of the craft on the front page. What was important to me was that I thought it should have been made clear that I created the image on the front page (I wasn't really concerned about money considerations although they were certainly going to sell more newspapers that day because of the UFO image being on the front page). Here's a scan of the fron page of USA TODAY from June 18, 1997. Notice the scan line in the image showing this is a photograph off of a CRT monitor. Local TV station covers Nippon TV visit To Ley Family home

On August 11th Nippon TV came over to my home to interview our family about our witnessing the March 13, 1997 UFO craft passing over our house during the event known worldwide as "The Phoenix Lights". They were very much interested in interviewing witnesses in Phoenix that had seen an actual ET craft during that evening over 10 years ago.

There has been worldwide perplexity over the events of that evening. Most of the attention over that evening was initially focused on a few videos that had been taken around 10:00 p.m. that evening that showed an array of bright lights seemingly floating over the city of Phoenix. The perspective of those videos was taken at a distance from the city. There were no videos taken of these bright lights from below them because the "Phoenix Lights" were actually parachute flares dropped from military jets flown to the Barry M. Goldwater Range (bombing) from Maryland. By the time the light from the flares had passed through over 30 miles of atmosphere all but the essential bright light from the middle of the flare had been stripped away and so the "lights" looked different than any other lights in the sky or on the ground. Initial analysis of the videos of these lights by Jim Dilettoso of Village Labs seemed to indicate that these lights were so unique they appeared to be otherworldly. Unfortunately a videotape's ability to pick up the full spectrum of light is limited. Because of witnesses having actually seen ET crafts almost two hours earlier that evening an "assumption" was made that these unique lights were directly related to these ET crafts. There is a relationship between the lights and the UFO crafts but it is not that the lights were from a craft but that the lights brought worldwide attention to the event and ultimately exposed the actual witnesses of the ET crafts. Our family is in that situation: we saw a bonafide ET craft pass right over our heads; we never even saw the "Phoenix lights" until we were on the TV show Strange Universe. Perhaps if there were no videos of the flare lights to be mistaken as a UFO there would not have been as much worldwide attention to that evening in Phoenix Arizona.

Here's a video from the local television station that covered Nippon TV's presence in town while they gathered information for a special to be on Nippon TV in Japan in October. The show that will feature the presentation has a viewership of 20 million in Japan.

This is a series of images that I created on my computer right after the March 13, 1997 UFO event referred to as the Phoenix Lights. I was trying to reconstruct what I had witnessed that evening. The first image in the upper left corner is trying to show what we first saw - what appeared to be an arch-like pattern of 5 lights floating in the sky about 75 miles away. As we stood there we could see that the lights were getting further apart so we new it was moving towards us (second image). Then at some point the shape of the 5 lights became V-like (or more accurately alpha-like). Then all we saw was the lights getting further and further apart but always maintaining the same relationship with each other. Finally we saw the shape of it against the background of stars. The last two images are my attempt to show the perspective of how long the craft was by making it appear wide in the front and then taper towards the rear. But in fact the shape was uniform from end to end. It really looked like a 60 degree 2/3 of a triangle; like a carpenter's square set at 60 degrees.

Star magazine asked to use my copywrited image of the March 13th 1997 Ufo in their magazine and they did. It is a bit misleading from my viewpoint because my family and I didn't experience fear when this craft passed over our heads; we experienced astonishment and excitement.
